Robert has been involved in ice carving since the mid 1980's and has been considered top 3 at some points in his career. He started his ice carving career at a place most people in the ice profession are first exposed to it, culinary school. Robert learned the basics at culinary school then went on to study the craft under an experienced carver before meeting Ernie DiMartino at a local ice carving competition. Robert has been carving for DiMartino Ice for over 20 years. He is an excelent teacher and very decorated carver in the National Ice Carving Association.
